Coarse Fishing

Coarse Fishing

The Coarse Fishing ponds are Open

We have four well stocked coarse fishing ponds within 500 yards of our Bed and Breakfast located in the peaceful Devon countryside.

Treat yourself to a day’s fishing or just relax and unwind for a couple of hours.  The fishing of these ponds is FREE to guests staying or day tickets can be purchased from the bank – you don’t need to be a guest at the B&B to fish at the ponds – everyone welcome!

Totalling an acre and a half of water in gently sloping valley, the ponds are stocked with Common and Mirror Carp, Tench, Bream, Golden Orfe and Golden Rudd and vary in depth up to 6 feet.  The four spring fed ponds provide a variety of fishing, catering for the pleasure angler who wants to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings to the more dedicated angler who is looking for a good days catch.

Parking is on a hard track adjacent to the ponds and a toilet is on site. If you wish to have a match we can reserve a pond for you.
